Morning/Afternoon Fish River Canyon Drive (guided)
Especially for guests who want a break from the wheel or those on a fly-in safari. You are taken to the two major lookout points along the Fish River Canyon. Our guide will tell you all about the canyon's fascinating geology. Refreshments, a light snack and all park entry fees are included. (Approx. 3 hours). Starting from Canyon Lodge; guests must arrange their own transport to Canyon Lodge.

Sunset Nature Drive in Gondwana Canyon Park (guided)
The 3 hour drive is the perfect opportunity for you to acquaint yourself with the geology, flora and fauna of the Gondwana Canyon Park. This tour does not include the Fish River Canyon. Refreshments and light snacks included. Approx. 3 hours.

Sunrise Hike (guided)
We drive you to a spot with a grand view where you can enjoy coffee or tea and rusks while watching the sunrise against the unique backdrop of Gondwana Canyon Park. This is followed by a walk of about one hour back to the lodge. This tour does not include the Fish River Canyon. (Start: half an hour before sunrise, duration: about 2-3 hours)
Morning Walk (guided)
This hike takes you right into Gondwana Canyon Park. You are accompanied by a guide who will gladly share his knowledge about the fascinating desert landscape around the canyon. This tour does not go the Fish River Canyon. (Start: 7:30, approx. 3 hours, incl. a bottle of water)
Hiking Trails (self-guided)
Stretch your legs and enjoy the beautiful surroundings by making use of our marked walking trail (2 - 3 hours, no map provided). Please inform the reception before you set off.
Under Canvas Sleep-out in a tent
The Under-Canvas Sleep-out is a truly Namibian adventure that lets you experience the raw nature of the Gondwana Canyon Park. Its remoteness and therefore the absence of light pollution guarantees one of the darkest night skies in the world, making it ideal for stargazing. The Under-Canvas Sleep-out activity must be pre-booked before your arrival. Starting from Canyon Lodge.
