What weather can you expect in Etosha Park through the year?
Etosha National Park has a very dry savanna desert climate: the annual
mean average temperature is 24 °C (75 °F).
In winter (May to October), the mean nighttime lows are around 10 °C (50
°F), while in summer (November to April) daytime temperatures often hover
around 40 °C (104 °F).
As it is a desert, there is a large variation between day and night. Rain almost never falls in the winter.
From April to October there is virtually no rain at all, while December to March are the wettest months.
