The Namutoni fort area has been pedestrianised, and an elevated decked walkway along one of the fort walls provides stuning sunset views over the Namutoni waterhole and the opportunity to enjoy the surrounding scenery and Etosha wildlife by day.
Facilities at Namutoni Camp
Behind the Fort is a refreshing swimming pool which is a favourite place to escape the midday heat while in Namutoni Fort there are two restaurants, a bar, curio shop, basic food shop, relaxing lounge area, jewellery shop and a bookshop.
When you are not out game viewing in Etosha National Park you can relax at the swimming pool or browse in the Namutoni shop.
There is also a petrol station at Namutoni and a museum so you can learn about the history of Namutoni and its role in forming Etosha National Park.
