A 24hr hide and viewing platform right over and in front of a waterhole, as you may know Okaukuejo, Halali and Namutoni resorts all have waterholes that you can view from inside the camp at Olifanstrus. This hide takes it to a new more unique level!
Camping at Olifantsrus Camping Site Etosha Namibia
A path leads from inside Olifanstsrus camp upwards over the fence into a hide that is built over a waterhole so you are right above the animals that come in to drink. You are so close it feels like the elephants could reach up with their trunks and kiss you, but it gets better, you can go downstairs in the hide where there are great big windows looking right onto the waterhole. You can sit and look up at elephants and other animals drinking only a few metres in front of you.
