Onkoshi Lodge Etosha Rooms and Chalets
There are fifteen (15) luxurious chalets at Onkoshi Lodge Etosha including one honeymoon chalet. All the guest rooms are spacious and with en-suite bathrooms boasting both an indoor and outdoor shower as well as a stone bath.
Each chalet or room at Onkoshi Lodge has a breathtaking view onto the Etosha pan. Onkoshi chalets are built on elevated wooden decks with thatched roofs, insulated canvas walls and large, wooden-framed retractable doors allowing for spectacular panoramic views of Etosha directly from your room.
The Onkoshi honeymoon chalet pictured below has a king-size bed, while each of the other chalets at Onkoshi Lodge has two ¾ size beds as standard sleeping two people per room with a sleeper couch for accompanying children. King size beds may be available in these rooms by special request.
Note that no children under the age of 6 are allowed at Onkoshi Lodge, for accommodation in Etosha catering for young children the nearest accommodation is at Namutoni, you can also try Halali or Okaukuejo.
A tea and coffee station can be found in every room at Onkoshi Lodge and an evening turndown service is provided. This is the only Lodge inside Etosha National Park where you will find this service.
Rooms at Onkoshi Lodge in Etosha are tastefully equipped with locally crafted fittings and furnishings using a combination of metal and wood combined with natural fabrics to create an ethnic ambiance. Space for luggage and hanging of clothes is provided in all Onkoshi Lodge rooms.
In line with the environmental policy of Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR), each unit at Onkoshi Lodge is energy self-sufficient entirely from solar energy including the water heating, lighting and power point for charging electronic equipment. This means that power is only available in the mornings between 6am and 10am, and again in the evening between 5pm and 10pm.
